By using CryptoJar (also referred to as "CJar"), you consent to the Terms and Conditions below.
Definitions
- User: the user who is using CryptoJar, in other words you.
- Service: CryptoJar, otherwise known as CJar.
- Team: the CryptoJar team as officially known.
- Platform: Discord, on which CryptoJar runs.
- Partners: appointed representatives of listed coins.
- Jar: your personal crypto collection on CryptoJar.
- Listing: a contract between CryptoJar and a Partner.
CJar can change the T&C in the future based on technical or regulatory developments. If a change occurs, we will notify you on the appropriate Discord channels. If you continue using CJar, you automatically agree to the updated T&C.
1. Account Security & Recovery Guidelines
To use CJar, you must follow the specific safety and community guidelines of the Discord platform. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own account, commands, and cryptographic credentials.
1.1 Asset Security & Ownership Verification
If your account is compromised, banned, or locked by the platform, the Service will make good-faith efforts to assist in verifying ownership and restoring access to your Jar. To protect assets and prevent unauthorized withdrawals, recovery is subject to strict verification protocols:
- Ownership Verification: The claimant must provide clear proof of original account ownership, including cryptographic validation or platform registration logs.
- Security Auditing: The Service will audit the transaction history of the compromised account to ensure restoration does not conflict with active security holds.
- Partner Integrations: Accounts linked to listing partners follow specialized multi-signature verification procedures to maintain ecosystem safety.
To initiate a recovery review, please submit your platform documentation and verification details to our support desk. Assistance is provided in good faith to protect legitimate asset holders.
1.2 Recovery Constraints & Fraud Prevention
To prevent social engineering, fraudulent claims, or unauthorized account takeovers, recovery assistance may be restricted under the following conditions:
- Insufficient Proof: Failure to provide objective, verifiable documentation of account ownership or platform standing.
- Systemic Violations: Accounts with a documented history of scamming, network exploits, or platform rule violations.
- Security Risks: Situations where restoring access presents a verified security threat to other community balances or transaction logs.
2. Prohibited Use & Access Restrictions
To preserve the safety and integrity of the platform, you agree not to engage in any of the prohibited activities listed below. If the Service detects a violation, we may temporarily suspend, freeze, or restrict your command access, Jar operations, and/or listing integrations.
2.1 Prohibited Activities
- Fraudulent Activity: Using the Service to scam, defraud, or illegally obtain funds from other users.
- Exploitation & Botting: Utilizing automated scripts, bots, or technical loopholes to exploit the transaction engine.
- Doxxing & Extortion: Distributing private information of team or community members, or utilizing extortion tactics.
- Network Harassment: Flood attacks, transaction spamming, or deliberately attempting to disrupt the bot's transaction logs.
- Defamation: Spreading malicious, unsubstantiated claims (FUD) targeting listed partners or developers without objective proof.
- Unauthorized Marketing: Using the bot to actively market, advertise, or commercially bundle token distributions targeting restricted jurisdictions.
- Command Abuse: Spamming commands or executing automated loops in Discord channels.
2.2 Suspended Jars & Asset Preservation
If a Jar is suspended or locked due to suspected prohibited activity, security exploits, or fraud:
- No Asset Seizure: The Service does not confiscate, seize, or claim ownership of digital assets held within a locked Jar. Assets remain secure and frozen during the review period to prevent unauthorized transfers.
- Legal Auditing & Coordination: If funds are suspected of being obtained through fraud, theft, or illicit means, the Service will preserve the frozen assets until ownership is verified, or until resolved by local law enforcement, judicial authorities, or official court orders.
- Resolution: Frozen assets will either be restored to the verified owner upon successful security review, returned to victims in proven cases of theft, or released in accordance with directives from competent legal authorities under governing law.
3. Regional Restrictions & Access Policy
CryptoJar is operated as an independent utility tool. We do not recruit users, market assets, or localize our services within the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA).
By executing commands or maintaining a Jar from within restricted regions, you confirm that you are doing so entirely on your own unprompted initiative. You acknowledge that every tip, transaction, or drop you initiate is a stand-alone utility operation and does not involve any active marketing, outreach, or promotion by the CryptoJar team.
Any request by a listed Partner or server administrator to host a token does not constitute active promotion or endorsement of that token by the Service to secondary users. All transactions within a guild are executed strictly on the unprompted initiative of the participating users. The Service does not provide localized European currency denominations (such as EUR), localized language channels, or specific regional support portals targeting European Member States; all services are delivered globally in English.
Utility Scope & Non-Custodial Routing: The Service operates strictly as an automated utility routing engine. The Service does not provide discretionary custody, financial management, or vaulting services. Users retain sole authorization over all command executions and peer transfers. No fiduciary duty exists between the Service and any user.
4. Listing Terms
4.1 Risk Assessment
When listing with CJar as a potential partner, CJar performs thorough research on the potential partner. This research decides if the listing continues. CJar performs this research before any listing fee transaction. CJar has the right to refuse listings based on risk assessment.
4.2 Yearly Maintenance
To keep a listing active, partners are required to pay a yearly maintenance fee to keep the blockchain network they operate on securely maintained. The amount can only be changed on a new renewal.
Failing to pay this yearly fee results in deactivation of the chain and termination of the listing when the fee is more than 3 months late. CJar sends a digital notice each month while the fee is late. After 3 notices, CJar may terminate the listing. If your listing is terminated in this way, you cannot list again with CJar.
4.3 Partner Compliance & Regulatory Indemnity
Any listed Partner or project representative represents and warrants that their cryptographic asset, token distribution model, and server activities comply with all applicable local, regional, and international regulations. Partners are strictly prohibited from utilizing the Service to target, solicit, or market assets to residents in restricted jurisdictions. Partners agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold the Service, its operators, and affiliates harmless from any regulatory inquiries, legal claims, or liabilities arising from their token listing or community distributions.
5. Intellectual Property
CJar reserves all rights to intellectual property created by the team. By submitting content or feedback, the user grants CJar a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content for operational purposes, with appropriate credit where feasible.
CJar owns all logos, images, theming, and the service itself. Users may use related intellectual property for communications within Discord, but not for unauthorized commercial purposes.
6. Liability & Jurisdiction
CJar and the team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to, use of, or inability to access/use the service.
- Any conduct, malicious smart contracts, or token distribution content of any third party on the service.
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your cryptographic transmissions or wallet content.
- Any loss of digital funds not proven to be the direct, intentional, and malicious fault of the Service.
Choice of Law: Any legal disputes, claims, or disagreements involving the Service shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the platform operator's registered jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles, explicitly waiving any consumer venue privileges or protective cross-claims in other jurisdictions.
7. Termination Requests
For termination of the user's jar and attached technical information, as highlighted by the Privacy Policy, the user can request termination by email:
8. Tax Compliance
You are solely responsible for reporting, calculating, and paying any taxes, duties, or government levies that may arise from tips, drops, or faucet rewards you send or receive through the Service.
